Our services are designed to reduce ongoing fire risk, toxic exposure, and environmental harm, while supporting compliant incident resolution for residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
Battery Identification & Assessment
Systematic inspection of fire-affected areas for battery-powered devices
Identification of lithium-ion, lithium-metal, and other energy storage systems
Assessment of visible damage, heat exposure, and compromise indicators
Recognition of concealed or destroyed battery risks
Battery Recovery & Isolation
Locating and controlled removal of damaged or compromised batteries where safe to do so
Use of appropriate containment and isolation methods
Risk-based decision-making informed by post-fire conditions
Packaging & Temporary Containment
After being located, batteries will be placed into compliant packaging systems aligned with international dangerous goods guidance, including:
UN P911 — for damaged or defective lithium batteries
LP906 — for large-format batteries and battery assemblies
Packaging selection is based on battery condition, size, and scene constraints and is intended for temporary risk reduction, not long-term storage or transport certification.
Documentation & Reporting
Photographic records of identified and recovered batteries
Written recovery summary
Clear documentation of known limitations
Stakeholder Liaison
Coordination with insurers, loss adjusters, investigators, and site controllers
Support during scene transition and handover phases
